  2. Every dayA short lesson in the JP Bridge appGrammar, vocabulary and kanji for that day, with practice that tells you straight away when you've got it right. The whole course is divided by the days left to your exam, so you always know if you're on track.
  3. Last 3 monthsExam prep with your teacherA 2-hour class each week on real exam-style questions, with the teacher explaining the answers and the traps.
  4. Exam dayPaced to the July or December JLPTChoose the sitting you're aiming for when you sign up. If you fall behind, we tell you early, and you can move to the next sitting instead of rushing.

Why people in Vancouver take the JLPT

Japan now asks for Japanese on several visas: N5 (or 150 hours of study) to enrol in a language school, and N2 for many work visas. Our guide to the new visa rules explains what changed and how long each step takes. Others take it for work, university, or simply to measure their progress.

We also run small in-person conversation groups at 320 Granville Street, Suite 1430, steps from Waterfront Station, with the first class free. Many students combine the two: the online course for the exam, the classroom for speaking.
