Miyu has taught Japanese at language schools in both Japan and Canada, and later went independent to build something better.
Over the years, she noticed a troubling pattern: students who had studied hard, passed the JLPT, and yet couldn't hold a simple conversation. The problem wasn't the students — it was the method. Grammar-only teaching produces grammar-only results.

No prior knowledge is required. If you need to learn hiragana or katakana, we offer it as a private add-on session.
Group classes cover JLPT N5 through N2. We'll assess your level before placing you in the right class.
We run four terms per year: Spring (March), Summer (June), Fall (September), and Winter (December). Each term is 3 months.
Kanji is introduced in group classes from Term 2 (month 4 onward). It is not covered in private or semi-private lessons by default.
The Travel Course is a short, focused private program (1 or 2 months) for people preparing for a trip to Japan. Regular classes are ongoing and cover JLPT grammar more comprehensively.
Group classes have a maximum of 8 students, ensuring everyone gets speaking time and personal attention.
